Easton meet and great Uncle Cao Hui, 不亦乐乎！

Since born, Easton's encounter with any new thing, new person, new toy, new whatever is always a process, and most of the time a long process.  The one exception is Uncle Cao Hui, who has known Easton from pictures for a long time!


without his typical alertness to unfamiliar things, Easton showed his unreserved enthusiasm immediately after he heard the knocks on our door!

When Uncle Cao Hui showed us his baby boy Eason's (the first time I saw Eason's birth announcement, I completely thought that was a wrong email) 1st year birthday pictures and videos, Easton got so excited and screamed at the screens since he completely thought that we were looking at his pictures!

A few minutes later, Easton showed Uncle Cao Hui all of his favorite toys (mostly cars), took Uncle Cao Hui to his play room and even invited Uncle Cao Hui to sit in grandma's closet (his favorite private space).

Looks like Easton is now requesting a picture together with Uncle Cao Hui

Learnings from Daycare (幼儿园学本领)

上了toddler班，高高在幼儿园的活动也丰富了起来。每次接送高高，老师忙得顾不过来介绍高高一天的活动。从幼儿园的黑板上，记录下了没能和高高一起度过的时光。

 下面的注释：
“当小朋友...,..., Easton,...把简单的拼图连接起来的时候，他们锻炼了：
1）自我注释的能力并且显示了他们解决问题的能力。
2）辨识颜色的同时并匹配不同的颜色。”

 

 I wonder how much Easton knew what he was doing?  Ｂｕｔ　ａｃｔｕａｌｌｙ I should wonder how much I　ｋｎｅｗ　Ｅａｓｔｏｎ！

高高的四月

今年的四月有点冷，出门还要穿大衣，戴帽子。姥姥开始每天坚持带高高出门散步，高高认识了鸭鸭，认识了新朋友．．．

不上幼儿园的日子，高高还学会了“干家务”，尤其喜欢给花浇水．．．

已经记不得是从什么时候开始，高高学会了照镜子，每次给他买了新帽子，他都要求照一照，很会臭美。 这次他给自己找到了一顶新帽子　（花盆底部的塑料罩子），戴上了美的不得了．．．

 天气终于暖和起来了，傍晚去普林斯顿，高高见了街头乐队，好奇又不敢接近，远远的自己转圈圈．．．
